One of our top priorities here at St. Thomas is the care of the sick. The pastoral staff and the members of the Legion of Mary visit the sick on a regular basis. On April 14, 2003 a new federal law regarding patient privacy went into effect. No longer will a patient's name be given to us by any of the hospitals.

Therefore, if you are going into the hospital and would appreciate a pastoral visit, you must call the rectory to inform us of the date of your entry and the name of the hospital. If you are admitted through Emergency, please have a family member inform us with the same information. If you are going to a health care facility for rehabilitation, you must do the same. We appreciate your informing us in order that we may be of service to you.

Before you enter the hospital why not ask to receive the Sacrament of the Sick? This way you not only prepare physically and emotionally but also spiritually for your hospital stay and we here at St. Thomas can keep you in our daily prayers.
